We’re sorry that our system was unable to automatically approve your Mass Lottery Player Account. It could be that some information was mistyped or that our identity verification service was unable to confirm your age and personal information as being accurate.

Mass Lottery has two options available for you to activate your account:

  1. Use the Secure Document Upload feature on the Mass Lottery app or website to upload images of both types of identifying documents (a non-expired signed government-issued identification card that contains a photo & Social Security card).

  • For App: Simply visit  the “Account” menu with the ‘person’ icon and Sign In to your player account, then click “Secure Document Upload”

  • For Desktop Computer: Sign in to your player account. Once signed in, click on the ‘person’ icon alongside your name to open the Account menu. Then click on ‘Secure Document Upload’.

  • For Mobile Phone: Sign in to your player account by selecting the ‘person’ icon in the upper right hand corner of your screen. Once signed in, click on the ‘person’ icon to open the Account menu. Then click on ‘Secure Document Upload’.

  1. In order to have your account activated in-person, please visit one of our Claim Centers.

Be sure to have both of the following identifying documents with you for in-person appointments:

  1. A non-expired signed government-issued identification card that contains a photo (e.g., drivers license, passport, etc.)

  2. Documentation with proof of your Social Security number (e.g., Social Security card, W-2 form, SSA-1099, Non-SSA-1099, pay stub that displays 9-digit SSN)

On arrival, let a claim agent know that you were trying to register in the app but received a failure.  They can then look up your account using your identity documents and activate your account once confirmed.  If your account is activated, you can login using the same email and password that you had created at the time of registration.
